What Do You Do?

What do you do when all your attempts at success fail?

What do you do when something you thing is right turns out to be wrong?

What do you do when you don't have the might to make your own decisions?

What do you do when your problems suddenly seem bigger then your ability to bear them?

What do you do when someone you love can't be with you when you miss them?

What do you do when the night comes and you feel as if there are gaping holes in your intricate web of existence?

What do you do when no one picks up the phone and all you want to do is hear a familiar voice in din of unfamiliar challenges and threats?

What do you do when you feel like death is staring you in the face?

What do you do when it feels like your dreams wont come to true?

What do you do ? What do you do? What do you do?

Do you kneel down and accept defeat? Or do you kneel down to pray and then stand up to fight?

Do you lie down and close your eyes and wait for death to take you away or do you lie down to rest and patiently wait for the sun to rise?

Do you let people's opinions on right and wrong define you or do you search high and low for some understanding of Allah's Divine Decree?

Do you pine for the ones you love or do you pine for Allah's love to get some strength to bear the separation?

Do you relieve your burdens but gnawing at your brother's flesh or do you remember Allah's promise of an easy load  for the straitened chest and stay mum?

Do you twist words to convince yourself that your dreams are coming true or do you accept the little that honesty brings your way.

Do you ? Do you? Do you?

Do what you must, Do what Allah wants you to do.

ٱلَّذِينَ يَذۡكُرُونَ ٱللَّهَ قِيَـٰمً۬ا وَقُعُودً۬ا وَعَلَىٰ جُنُوبِهِمۡ وَيَتَفَڪَّرُونَ فِى خَلۡقِ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٲتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ رَبَّنَا مَا خَلَقۡتَ هَـٰذَا بَـٰطِلاً۬ سُبۡحَـٰنَكَ فَقِنَا عَذَابَ ٱلنَّارِ

Those who remember Allah standing, sitting, and lying down on their sides, and think deeply about the creation of the heavens and the earth, (saying): "Our Lord! You have not created (all) this without purpose, glory to You! Give us salvation from the torment of the Fire." 

(Qur'an 3:191)
